Supports the Manager to bring in more footfall to the Hospital by developing marketing and business plans to achieve the revenue goals. Works to improve the organization's market position and achieve financial growth.

• Engages in market research to identify new business opportunities for the insurance segment that are accepted at americna Hospital and its satellite Clinics .
• Develops a network of operational contacts that will support the work of the Business Development Team.
• Develops business proposals for existing and new customers.
• Sets up and handles alliances with various Hospitals, Medical Centers, Embassies, Corporate, etc.
• Develops innovative strategies for retaining clients.
• Performs analytical preparation for opportunities for potential growth for the management.
• Acquires knowledge of the outside market and competition in the healthcare industry.
• Generates analysis and insight based on facility and market data.
• Generates new contacts and sales leads for the Hospital.
• Performs other duties as required by the Group Marketing Director.
• Leads collaborative partnerships with Physicians, community-based facilities and employers that result in effective referral patterns and care coordination.
• Follows up on new and potential business opportunities.
• Organizes training and workshop programs.
• Implements marketing, advertising and promotion planning through attending events and exhibitions in the healthcare market locally and internationally.
• Helps expand business locally and internationally and promotes the Hospital.
• Maintains open communication with colleagues throughout the Hospital.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Development, Education or a related field

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Customer Service related industry or private hospital/healthcare or hospitality.
• Knowledge of the outside market and competition in the healthcare industry about the government.
• Skills in self-direction, creativity and sound judgment applicable to the position description responsibilities.
• Skills in mentoring/coaching in a multi-cultural/national environment.
