Ensures the Building Management Systems (BMS) and Air Valve Systems (AVS) are safe and comfortable environment for patients, visitors, and employees at the American Hospital Dubai. Maintains, configures, repairs, and tests Building Management Systems (BMS) systems and associated hardware. Operates, installs, repairs, and maintains the HVAC systems within hospitals. Diagnoses and addresses issues in heating/air conditioning systems, and performs routine and preventive maintenance to ensure continuous functionality. Inspects HVAC components, recommends repair and conducts preventive measures. 

• Performs general and preventative maintenance on BMS/HVAC Control systems.
• Operates, analyses, diagnoses, and repairs HVAC controls.
• Ensures all new installations are done as per the industry standards.
• Monitor and record values of HVAC systems to build a database of records to provide data for energy efficiency improvement.
• Monitors Building Management System (BMS) for changes outside of normal operating parameters and reports to the HVAC Engineer.
• Completes work in a timely and workman-like manner.
• Professionally maintains company tools.
• Participates in company-wide internal meetings as required.
• Performs brazing proficiently.
• Performs different tasks simultaneously.
• Demonstrates trade training on a wide range of cross-trade activities.
• Implements Sustainable Practices/Policies in Facilities Management's operations.

• Industrial Training Certificate
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering preferred

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a Healthcare Organization or similar institution
• Knowledge of Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA) standards preferred
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Ability to read Engineering Drawings
