Who We Are:

Our benefits team is dedicated to providing exceptional benefits to our employees who are working to build one of the most incredible products in the world. We are looking for a Benefits Analyst based in either out New York, Memphis, or Bay Area office. This role will primarily focus on the US but will also provide support for international locations.

Who You Are:

This position administers and drives continuous improvements of the benefits programs at x.AI and X. This role will interact with multiple functions within the company and consult with internal and external resources to facilitate benefits processes while providing guidance on program operations and compliance with state, federal, and country specific regulations.

The Analyst will implement improvements to benefits programs and plan to drive efficiency, scale our service model, improve customer facing experience and aide in evaluating cost and competitive market placement. This role will participate in and help drive the design of new benefits policies, programs, practices, as well as provide recommendations in planning, development and implementation of program changes.

What You’ll Do:

  • Help manage annual Open Enrollment including partnering with our benefits brokers to implement new plans, configuring the Benefits Administration System (Workday/Rippling), and communicating changes to employees
  • Play a hands-on role updating our HRIS to ensure proper structure, alignment and interfacing with our carriers and vendors
  • Respond to and resolve complex global benefit escalations
  • Help manage the 401(k) plan including assisting the Benefits Program Manager with annual audits, testing and 5500 filing
  • Partner with Payroll to perform audits on all benefit-related deductions including HSA contributions, imputed income, retroactive deductions, and W-2 benefit reporting
  • Process and reconcile monthly/quarterly benefits invoices and partner with Finance to audit and reconcile billing as necessary
  • Partner with our Finance and Legal teams team to ensure compliance of health care plan documents, policies, postings, eligibility, and Affordable Care Act requirements
  • Coordinate country specific and global benefits and wellness education sessions and communication campaigns
  • Support the full lifecycle of all Benefit programs, including global benefits renewals, global pensions audit, benefit structure reviews and implementation across the globe

Job Qualifications:

  • Experience minimum: 3+ years experience in US benefits
  • Hands on experience with day to day benefits administration
  • Experience implementing and rolling out benefits programs company-wide
  • Previous experience supporting a 401k plan
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work independently to run benefit programs from start to finish
  • Strong vendor management experience
  • Experience in program development
  • Operational and process excellence
  • Organizational and analytical skills
  • Communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience in interpreting and communicating policy provisions

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

  • International benefits experience, preferably in EMEA and LATAM
  • Proven skills in the development, management, evaluation and improvement of benefit programs
  • Ability to apply judgment and make sound decisions
  • Proven ability to plan, organize, prioritize, work independently and meet deadlines
  • Ability to conduct complex analysis and formulate conclusions
  • Ability to design new programs and lead process improvement projects
  • Ability to foster effective working relationships and build consensus with multiple stakeholders
