We are seeking a dynamic Business Development, Senior Manager/Director to drive our expansion efforts in Germany, Switzerland, France, and other key European countries. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the local European market, excellent relationship - building skills, and a proven track record in client acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with the International Business Unit to develop and implement strategic plans to penetrate the European market, with a primary focus on Germany and Switzerland.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including local government transportation authorities, automotive industry partners, and potential customers.
Conduct in - depth market research to understand local trends, regulatory landscapes, competition, and customer needs in the European autonomous driving space.
Develop and execute strategic business plans to achieve sales targets and drive business growth within the European region.
Collaborate with cross - functional teams (such as R&D, product, and operations) to customize products and services to meet the unique requirements of the European market.
Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to prospective clients, highlighting the value of WeRide's autonomous driving solutions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business/Engineering or a related field (preferred but not required).
Minimum of 6 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in the autonomous vehicle development or technology sectors.
In - depth familiarity with the European technology/automobile markets, with a demonstrated history of successful client development in these regions.
Fluency in English and German. Multilingual capabilities are highly desirable.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, essential for dealing with diverse European business cultures.
Ability to thrive in a fast - paced and cross - functional international environment.
