We are seeking a dynamic Business Development, Senior Manager/Director to drive our expansion efforts in Germany, Switzerland, France, and other key European countries. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the local European market, excellent relationship - building skills, and a proven track record in client acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the International Business Unit to develop and implement strategic plans to penetrate the European market, with a primary focus on Germany and Switzerland.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including local government transportation authorities, automotive industry partners, and potential customers.
  • Conduct in - depth market research to understand local trends, regulatory landscapes, competition, and customer needs in the European autonomous driving space.
  • Develop and execute strategic business plans to achieve sales targets and drive business growth within the European region.
  • Collaborate with cross - functional teams (such as R&D, product, and operations) to customize products and services to meet the unique requirements of the European market.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to prospective clients, highlighting the value of WeRide's autonomous driving solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Engineering or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in the autonomous vehicle development or technology sectors.
  • In - depth familiarity with the European technology/automobile markets, with a demonstrated history of successful client development in these regions.
  • Fluency in English and German. Multilingual capabilities are highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, essential for dealing with diverse European business cultures.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast - paced and cross - functional international environment.
  • Frequent travel within Europe is required.
