About the Role
We're looking for a Back-End Engineer strong in DevOps to help scale our infrastructure. You’ll build and maintain APIs, services, and pipelines that power our creative tools—ensuring speed and reliability through growth. We’re especially interested in candidates with deep experience in asynchronous and real-time collaboration.
Location: Preference for SF/Bay Area, CA. Open to remote candidates in North America & Western EU.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain server-side features and APIs.
Design scalable systems and ensure high performance and availability; “4 Nines”.
Build and manage CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
Monitor, debug, and optimize services in production.
Integrate third-party services such as AI, payments, analytics
Key Competencies:
Evidence of exceptional ability in software development
Proficient in back-end languages (e.g., Python, Typescript for Node.js).
Strong experience with databases (SQL, Postgres, NoSQL, GraphQL)
Experience managing cloud apps and services on Azure, AWS
Clear communicator and collaborative mindset
Using AI in your day-to-day
Ideal Candidate Has:
Experience implementing multi-level access and permission systems
Experience implementing realtime multiplayer systems
Experience with 3D tools or creative platforms.
Experience with AI/ML workflows.
Passion for building creative tools and empowering artists.
Knowledge of Web Transport + HTTP3
