PostNord is the leader of logistics and postal services in the Nordics. As a part of the IT organization, we support a variety of different PostNord stakeholders in a multitude of areas, such as e.g. HR, mail and logistics. We are already delivering business critical forecasting models that are an important piece of the puzzle of optimizing our operations. Our digital transformation journey started a few years back with migrating BI/DW platforms to Azure. We are now using that platform to train our ML models on our data sets to enable data-driven decision making.
Our technology is focused on the Azure stack, and includes Azure MLW, Azure ML, Azure DevOps, Power BI etc.
The Machine Learning team’s main responsibility is to develop and operate ML models used by PostNord production units. As an ML engineer, your role is hands-on, focusing on operating and optimizing our ML workloads and model releases.
Responsibility includes take models developed by Data scientists and manage the infrastructure and operations around training and deploying those models. Help build production systems to handle updating models, model versioning and serving predictions to end users.
You will be responsible for improving our monitoring/alerting systems for our ML workloads.
You'll work closely with a team of data scientists to monitor and improve model accuracy, prevent drift, and improve the cloud infrastructure.
To fit in the ML Engineer role at PostNord you have been working with software development on an advanced level for several years. It is important that you like to remain hands on, able to take a lead role and enjoy working on complex and challenging solutions.
You have a structured approach to code management and can help the team develop code according to best practices.
As a person you are curious to learn and evolve your skill set in accordance with the state of the art pace in the domain that you work in.
