Job Description

Brief Description:

We are seeking a skilled Azure Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. You will play a pivotal role in provisioning and managing a wide range of Azure services, with a particular focus on AI-driven solutions. Your responsibilities will include setting up and operating Azure services, virtual machines, and supporting infrastructure for AI projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provision and manage Azure subscriptions, network security groups, application gateways, and other Azure services.
• Configure and maintain VMs, including monitoring, patching, and incident management.
• Set up and manage database servers (MS-SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and associated infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Azure DevOps, Bicep, YAML, and JSON.
• Automate tasks and create scripts using PowerShell and Bash.
• Collaborate with the AI team to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure components into AI projects.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Language: Fluent in English (C-level required); German (C or B-level) is a plus.
• Azure Expertise: Extensive experience with Azure services, with a strong focus on AI-related services.
• IaC & DevOps: Proficiency in Azure DevOps, Bicep, YAML, and JSON for infrastructure automation.
• Scripting: Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and Bash.
• Version Control: Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Database: Deep understanding of database systems, especially MS-SQL Server and PostgreSQL. Experience with database design, administration, and ETL processes.
• AI: Familiarity with AI concepts and experience working on AI-related projects.
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
