Responsibilities:
Comprehend the complete suite of AWS services employed in our infrastructure.
Setting up of AWS Servers so that they are scalable and reliable
Managing various Subnets for cluster of servers
Managing VPC Security Groups
Experience in CloudWatch, CloudFront, Cloudflare configurations
Continuous measures to reduce the AWS billing - watch traffic
Understand / Own the Deployment of updates to various servers
Develop Pipelines for various deployments
Plan and Implement backup strategy on AWS servers
Setup of alerts to know the health of servers, services, disk usage etc.
Understand / Implement Security measures as per the company
Monitor the capacity, storage planning and database performance on AWS
Make suggestions / improvement to our deployment model
Plan / implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery a procedures with in-depth knowledge of AWS
Plan / implement new upgrades of IT infrastructure
Qualifications - Are You a Match?
You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in preferably Computer Science or Information Technology or an Electronics stream or closely related field or equivalent experience
4-6 years of experience in the AWS and the system administrator related activities
Good background in Linux / Unix administration
Previous exposure to large-scale systems design
Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems
Hands on experience of virtualization
System Administration and IT Certificates in Linux, Microsoft, etc is an added advantage
Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols
Working experience of the scripting and automation tools
