Our unit, Customer Innovation Services CIS (former IBSO) is the strategic RISE with SAP enabler, delivering differentiated innovations for our customers leveraging the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), S/4HANA and Business AI, focusing on a clean core approach. 
As (Associate) Development Architect (f/m/d) you will have the opportunity to work on the entire lifecycle for customer specific projects.
This lifecycle includes the analysis and specification of business requirements gathered in customer workshops as well as the design, implementation, and maintenance. 
You are working closely with internal colleagues, partners, and customer teams to ensure a successful project completion.

What you bring:

• 8+ years of experiences in design and development on SAP S/4 HANA or Business Technology Platform (BTP)
• Proficiency in either Node.js / React development; or full stack ABAP technologies (CDS, Gateway, CAP, UI5, Fiori Elements)
• Experience in implementing GenAI and/or Machine Learning use cases 
• Excellent presentation skills and experienced in customer interaction, such as customer workshops or technical management of customer escalations
• Experiences in at least one Industry, such as Finance or Automotive/Logistics is a plus
• Research Experience (e.g. PhD study) is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities
• Comply with development standards and methodologies (Scrum, quality, security, performance)
• You show a self-motivating style of working combined with a continuous learning mindset
• Excellent verbal and written communication in German and English
