Position Specific Description
You will be a member of a leading team of the company digital transformation, leveraging Data Science in automating different tasks of the plant operation such as maintenance processes, engineering procedures and Material Inventory Control using IoT data. You will contribute to the adaptation of state-of-the-art Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies to create a “smart” and more efficient plant operation workflow Tasks: - Develop Machine Learning models using state of the art technologies - Collaborate in the implementation of the Data Science models in Nextera AWS platform - Contribute to the expansion of the IoT technology usage and its integration with Artificial Intelligence - Collaborate in the development of Deep Learning models applying the latest in the Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Computer Vision technologies - Collaborate in investigating the introduction of other technologies such as Wearables and Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality and their interaction with Data Science applications Required Skills: - Bachelor level in a related technology field - Matering of Machine Learning Concepts - Programing skills in Python or R with a special focus on machine learning packages such as pandas and sklearn - Experience in Deep Learning platforms such as TensorFlow - Knowledge of Generative AI concepts - Good Communication skills Preferred Skills: - Background in statistics - Experience in the AWS Data Science applications such as Sagemaker - Experience in developing Data Visualization dashboards
This position is responsible for developing algorithms, modeling techniques, and optimization methods that support many aspects of NextEra and FPL business. Employees in this role use knowledge of machine learning, optimization, statistics, and applied mathematics along with abilities in software engineering with a focus on distributed computing and data storage infrastructure (i.e., “Big Data”).
