As Associate Cloud Support Engineer for Akatec Global at Akamai Technologies, you will be responsible for leading the mission-critical, technical service and support for the global online customers. You will be responsible for improving processes, optimizing operations, and continuously improving the metrics which reflect an industry-leading support experience.

As a Associate Cloud Support Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Working as a trusted support partner to resolve customer questions and issues.
  • Owning the problem resolution and collaborating with internal teams
  • Leading investigations across Akamai's Distributed Network for optimized performance and delivery for customers
  • Analyzing existing technical issues across Akamai's Distributed Networks and proposing solutions to prevent issues recurring.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have 6 months - 2 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in computer science/Engineering or relevant fields
  • Have experience providing technical solutions & support to B2B customers
  • Be well versed in how the internet works, it's underlying protocols with understanding of DNS, HTTP/S, TCP.
  • Have basic knowledge of Linux and/or Unix
  • Be able to prioritize workload and communicate technical issues to stakeholders of varying technical ability
