The AI Ops Coordinator will be responsible for the strategy, roadmap and execution of reimagining operational and customer experiences by leveraging AI, automation, other technologies to drive automation and accelerate workforce efficiencies. This person should have a strong background and expertise in artificial intelligence, Machine Learning, and Large language Models to drive product innovation, enhance user engagement, and deliver impactful solutions that meet the needs of the organization and our customers. The AI Ops Coordinator should also have extensive experience working with very large data sets and knowledge of building programs/mappings that leverage Azure platforms and Data warehouses (MPP) platforms.
Key Accountabilities
Design integration solutions that fit within the larger data integration strategy or initiative, including recommending data integration tools.
Advocate and enforce adoption of architecture standards such as technical design patterns, reusable code examples, and physical design best practices.
Collaborate with cross functional teams, data scientists, & stakeholders to develop new AI and data capabilities including governance policies, standards, and best practices.
Serve as a consultant resource regarding lines of businesses existing & prospective AI tools, products, & uses.
Provide data engineering consultation on complex Big Data projects.
Support a service-oriented data architecture as required.
Identify and design any transformations or conversions required to maximize data consistency and usability.
Review requirements for data sourcing requests and understand feasibility.
Develop data integration solutions in alignment with enterprise data integration principles.
Gain access to the data sources and perform initial analysis to identify sourcing strategies and act as technical expert to provide guidance to the business.
Support the adoption, development, implementation, & acceptable use of AI by organization
Proactively work to shape & support the organization’s enterprise Artificial Intelligence strategy.
Work with operations and data & analytics teams to prioritize short-term and long-term goals.
Perform Competitive analysis for like industries and help establish AI priorities and best practices.
Deliver product requirements with prioritized features and establish the operational rigor for operating and improving organizational capabilities.
Monitor and measure product/capability performance - analyze capability NPS, product usage, and operations data.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Mathematics/Statistics and 6 or more years of experience in the Data Engineering area
OR
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in the Data Engineering area
OR
Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree in Computer Science or Mathematics/Statistics and 6 or more years of experience in the Data Engineering area
AND
5 or more of experience in Enterprise Data Engineering
Experience in scripting languages
Experience with data transformation and aggregation tools
Experience in data analysis, data interrogation or data profiling
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with AI, Machine Learning, and Large Language Models
Experience using Cloud platforms/technologies
Experience in scripting languages including Shell, Perl, Python, R, Java
Experience Big Data tools including with Storn, Hive, Spark, Map Reduce, Kafka, Flume, Tex, Pig, Oozi
Experience with ETL technologies; strong SQL and stored procedure skills
Experience with using and implementing ChatGPT
Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals
Project Management PMP or Agile Certified Professional ACP Certification preferred
Compensation for roles at Zurich varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. Candidates with salary expectations outside of the range are encouraged to apply, and will be considered based on experience, skill, and education. The salary provided is a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location where the position may be filled. The starting salary range for this position is $96,300.00 - $157,700.00.
