The primary responsibilities of this role are to Design & Developing software stack for HPE Servers on premise and in the cloud.  The candidate should have detailed knowledge in Computer Architecture, Operating Systems & its administration. Should have good Analytical, communication & presentation skills who can strive in fast paced environments. The candidate should have good experience in agile software development models.

What you’ll do

The Cloud Developer builds from the ground up to meet the needs of mission-critical applications, and is always looking for innovative approaches to deliver end-to-end technical solutions to solve customer problems.

Brings technical thinking to break down complex data and to engineer new ideas and methods for solving, prototyping, designing, and implementing cloud-based solutions.

Collaborates with project managers and development partners to ensure effective and efficient delivery, deployment, operation, monitoring, and support of Cloud engagements.

The Cloud Developer provides business value expertise to drive the development of innovative service offerings that enrich HPE's Cloud Services portfolio across multiple systems, platforms, and applications.

What you need to bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
  • Typically 12-15 years of experience in systems /cloud and software development.
  • Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience working on server products, data centers, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Extensive experience with multiple software systems, design tools, and languages, including Python.
  • Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Good to know industry standards such as Redfish.
  • Hands-on experience with one or more of the following: Spark, Airflow, AWS, and data transformation tools.
  • Exposure to time series modeling and recommendation systems.
  • Knowledge of ML Ops and AI/Ops use cases.
  • Proficiency in tools such as PyTorch, ML Flow (ML lifecycle)
  • Strong understanding of statistical methods and techniques for data analysis.
  • Exposure to data visualization tools such as Tableau or matplotlib and seaborn in Python.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Cassandra.
  • Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals, and negotiate options at senior management levels.
