here Key Responsibilities
- Develop clear, concise, and engaging copy for digital products in both Arabic and English, including UI elements, microcopy, and user help content.
- Collaborate with product managers, researchers, designers and developers to ensure content aligns with the overall user experience, product strategy, and regional requirements.
- Conduct user research and testing across Arabic and English audiences to understand behaviours, needs and preferences, and apply these insights to improve UX writing and localisation efforts
- Maintain a consistent tone of voice and style in both Arabic and English across all digital touchpoints, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and cultural nuances.
- Create and maintain comprehensive UX writing guidelines and documentation for bilingual content to ensure consistency and quality across all products and teams.
- Translate, adapt, and localise copy for Arabic and English users, ensuring cultural relevance and accessibility for diverse audiences.
- Proactively identify and address gaps in bilingual content across the user journey, ensuring clarity, accessibility, and user-centric design.
- Collaborate with high-level stakeholders to align content strategies with business objectives
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in UX writing and localisation, bringing fresh ideas and insights to enhance bilingual user experiences.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, UX or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience as a UX writer, with expertise in bilingual (Arabic/English) content creation.
- Proven ability to write for diverse audiences in both languages, considering cultural nuances and localisation.
- Strong understanding of UX principles, best practices, and content strategy.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail and consistency.
- Experience collaborating with high-level stakeholders and cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and developers.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to use data and user feedback to inform and improve content.
- Proficiency in relevant tools and software for UX writing and content management.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Background in the fintech or financial services industry, or a similarly fast-moving sector.
- Management experience is preferred but not essential; leadership potential is highly valued.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
