Position Overview
As an Apprentice IT Officer, you will play a vital role within the company, working closely with your mentor to ensure the smooth operation and security of our IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for supporting the maintenance of our systems, managing user access, and assisting in the implementation of cybersecurity measures to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards. This hands-on role offers a great opportunity to develop your skills across IT management, security, and support in a dynamic and innovative environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage and enforce information security policies and procedures.- Monitor IT systems performance and ensure compliance with security standards.- Maintain and update internal IT infrastructure, including hardware and cloud assets.- Manage user access rights and IT equipment lifecycle (procurement, setup, maintenance).- Support IT onboarding/offboarding and assist with office IT needs (e.g., meeting room setups).
