We are seeking individuals with advanced expertise in Machine Learning (ML) to join our dynamic team. 

As an Applied AI ML Director within our Corporate Sector, you will play a pivotal role in collaborating with various teams to develop and implement common ML components for AIT. You will contribute to our innovative projects and drive the future of machine learning at AIT.

Job responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on a wide range of ML techniques and optimizations.
  • Provide in-depth knowledge of ML algorithms, frameworks, and AutoML methods.
  • Enhance ML workflows through advanced proficiency in transfer learning and pretrained models.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills 

  • MS and/or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field, with at least five years of applied machine learning experience.
  • Solid background in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and/or hands-on experience with machine learning and deep learning methods.
  • Deep understanding and expertise in PyTorch/TensorFlow internals.
  • Specialized experience in GPU optimization, including defining and implementing algorithms such as DeepSpeed, Megatron, Flash-Attention, and Grouped Attention.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills 

  • Experience with JAX, Ray, MLFlow, and/or other distributed training frameworks.
  • In-depth understanding of Search/Ranking, Recommender systems, RAG (Similarity Search), Graph techniques, and other advanced methodologies.
  • Advanced knowledge in Reinforcement Learning or Meta Learning.
  • Understanding of Large Language Model (LLM) techniques, including Agents, Planning, Reasoning, and other related methods.
  • Expertise in training and fine-tuning large language models (LLMs) and embedding models.
