As part of our team, you will be driving the technical vision for pursuits of high profile, AI/ML related opportunities. In this role, you will have the opportunity to stay on top of the latest developments in the areas of data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning while using your creativity to define game changing solutions to problems that have major implications for our national security. You will build a solid understanding of Parsons capabilities and combine that with your knowledge and experience to develop compelling and differentiated technical content for proposals, white papers and related materials in support of government solicitations and conferences. You will also help drive our AI/ML strategy and support the growth of the business through engagements with customers and industry partners.

This position is hybrid with in-office work in either Colorado Springs or one of our DC area offices. Remote work is not available.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to gather goals and objectives, identify gaps and develop differentiated solutions that solve mission needs
  • Support enterprise-wide growth strategies and initiatives aimed at differentiation of services and delivery, increased competitiveness, and industry thought leadership
  • Establish and maintain relationships with customers and industry partners to understand mission needs and articulate capabilities
  • Research and understand technology trends, particularly in the areas of agile software development, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), data analytics, and cloud technologies
  • Support development of functional AI/ML prototype software
  • Develop technical content for proposals, white papers and related materials in support of government solicitations and conferences
  • Perform product and capability demonstrations for customers and industry partners as needed
  • Attend technical conferences and symposiums pertinent to the trade space
  • Provide technical inputs and mission perspective to inform corporate strategy and investments


Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science or a related technical discipline and minimum 10 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to innovate and provide thought leadership in AI/ML systems and architectures
  • Experience developing and deploying AI/ML solutions in support of DoD and/or IC customers
  • Possess strong written and oral communication skills, including excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to represent the company favorably, to develop new clients, and to negotiate with key members of other firms
  • US Person with ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance


Desired Skills:

  • Experience with solutioning and proposal development for government solicitations in one or more of the following technical areas: enterprise software systems, artificial intelligence/machine learning, remote sensing, cloud architectures and systems integration
  • Experience with machine learning and data science tools (Jupyter, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, pandas, SageMaker, Apache Spark, large language models)
  • Experience with reinforcement learning, generative AI and/or AI planning
  • Experience working with technologies such as digital engineering, agile development, DevSecOps, containers, cloud migration, cloud native technologies and cybersecurity
  • Experience with reasoning under uncertainty (Bayesian Networks, Dynamic Bayesian Networks, Decision Networks, Subjective Logic, Fuzzy Logic)
  • Experience with AI-based automated planning and plan recognition technology including planning domain definition language (PDDL) complaint planners

Salary Range:
