Job Overview:
We are seeking an AI/ML Research intern to support our team in developing and optimizing student response modeling systems. The intern will be using machine learning and statistical approaches, and focusing on difficulty modeling across various assessment types.
Job Responsibilities:
Analyze large datasets of student responses to identify patterns in question difficulty
Develop and validate statistical models to student responses
Collaborate with assessment specialists to incorporate subject matter expertise
Document methodology and findings for stakeholder communication
Internship Requirements:
Current graduate student in Data Science, Education, or related fields
Proven Python programming skills (pandas, transformers)
Experience with statistical modeling and machine learning
Understanding of educational assessment concepts preferred
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
