Job Responsibilities:

The AI/ML Group Product Manager is responsible for defining, executing, and managing the product strategy and lifecycle for AI/ML initiatives across the organization. This role combines strategic leadership with technical expertise to deliver innovative AI/ML solutions that meet business objectives and customer needs. Reporting to senior leadership, the position oversees a team of product managers and works closely with cross-functional teams to drive alignment and ensure successful execution.

Key Responsibilities

1.Strategic Planning and Vision Development:

  • Develop and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap for AI/ML initiatives that align with organizational goals.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and market demands to shape strategic priorities.

2.Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead and manage a team of product managers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance oversight.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and accountability.

3.Product Development Oversight:

  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of AI/ML products, from conceptualization and requirements gathering to launch and post-launch performance analysis.
  • Collaborate with engineering, data science, and design teams to define product specifications and ensure timely delivery.

4.Stakeholder and Customer Engagement:

  • Engage with internal stakeholders, customers, and partners to gather requirements and feedback.
  • Translate business needs into product features and ensure alignment with broader organizational strategies.

5.Execution and Delivery:

  • Ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable AI/ML products on time and within budget.
  • Oversee product launches, including internal training, marketing alignment, and operational readiness.

6.Ethics and Compliance:

  • Ensure all AI/ML products comply with relevant ethical, regulatory, and data privacy standards.
  • Promote responsible AI practices and frameworks across product development processes.

7.Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

  • Define and track KPIs to measure product performance, customer adoption, and business impact.
  • Lead ongoing analysis to identify areas for improvement and drive product refinements.

Qualifications

1.Educational Background:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.

2.Professional Experience:

  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years focused on AI/ML products or technologies.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing product teams and delivering complex, technical products to market.

3.Technical Expertise:

  • Comprehensive understanding of AI/ML concepts, frameworks, and industry applications.
  • Ability to work closely with technical teams and bridge the gap between technical development and business objectives.

4.Leadership and Interpersonal Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience presenting to executive leadership.

5.Analytical and Strategic Thinking:

  • Proficiency in data analysis and familiarity with analytics tools to inform product decisions.
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes.

6.Additional Competencies:

  • Experience with Agile product development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of legal, ethical, and regulatory considerations specific to AI/ML technologies.
