The Team
This team moves quickly. If you join it, you’re expected to do the same. We work fast, build cool things, and turn “wouldn’t it be cool if…” ideas into reality. If that sounds like your kind of thing, keep reading.
Formally, we’re a team of Research & Development engineers interested in solving some of the hardest problems at the intersection of AI, networking, and cybersecurity. Informally, we pursue any interesting problem that comes our way, irrespective of its source or focus area.
Our recent projects range from using multi-modal models for capturing endpoint device behavior to automating entire business workflows using SotA Large Language Models. While we have pursued pure research projects in the past, our primary focus is on developing rapid prototypes. We like building real things that have the potential for significant impact. Why waste time on the trivial?

What We're Looking For
Not just any AI/ML Engineer. You thrive on solving complex problems, applying AI in novel ways, and deploying real-world applications. You speak math and enjoy dissecting the intricacies of machine learning, deep learning, and algorithms at the most fundamental level. But, you’re no pure theorist. You have practical leanings and wish to bring your designs and schemes to life. You can see a project through the dirtiest stages of data collection to a pristine deployment. Post-deployment, you’re interested in how end users utilize your solutions: what they like, what they hate, and what they break. You analyze this feedback and use it to shape and improve the process for your next project venture.
You enjoy writing. You create articles for existing and new project ideas just for sport. You stay updated with current research in AI/ML and have no issues drafting an article that confirms or refutes the trendiest of research claims, with results from your own experiments included of course. Ultimately, you understand that engineering is a pursuit, that skills and knowledge must be refined over time, and that obtaining expertise is a cyclical process, not an end state that you will someday achieve.
The Work Environment
You are required to be in the office 3 days a week in Round Rock, TX, just outside of Austin. The rest of the week, you can be remote and left to your own devices. With great freedom comes great creativity…occasionally.
