As part of Apple's AI and Machine Learning org, we encourage and create groundbreaking technology for large-scale ML systems, computer vision, natural language processing, and multi-modal understanding. The Data and Machine Learning Innovation (DMLI) team is looking for a passionate program manager to bring efficiency, process, and standardization to the organization. This position will play a meaningful role in the DMLI Chief of Staff team. The successful candidate will have a proactive approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively on a wide range of projects. This role is designed to bring efficiency, process, and standardization to the organization. The ideal candidate would possess strong project management competence, distinctive analytical skills, and be great with people.

Description


Drive the annual, quarterly, and ongoing strategic planning exercises. Includes the coordination, planning, execution, and accountability to follow-up of these sessions. Drive accountability and execution of the operational rhythms of the org and improve the operational efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity.

Minimum Qualifications


  • Master's degree or MBA in a technical, quantitative, or business field.
  • 3+ years experience working in a tech company.
  • Experience managing relationships and working cross-functionally within global organizations.
  • Ability to understand and articulate the big picture to executive teams, while maintaining exceptional attention to execution details.
  • Excellent problem-solving and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively facilitate complex meetings with executives and partners across multiple functions in an organization.
  • Excellent program management skills, with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience working with a ML research team is a plus


Pay & Benefits


  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $133,800 and $222,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
