Description -
This role is responsible for the strategy and execution of the HP Commercial Personal Systems AI use case discovery. You will inform strategic choices in ISV / HSV partnerships and use case development for the AI PC category. You will conduct persona and industry-oriented market research, set up automated digital news watching (ex: VCs, incubators, alliances, silicon), and perform technical inflection monitoring of key AI PC partners (ex: Microsoft, OpenAI). The role works with cross-functional teams to influence AI innovation such as commercial notebook product planning, and Future Technology and Experiences.
Responsibilities
Identifies research, tools, and analysis required to achieve objectives for large, complex business strategy projects.
Structures analytical approaches and develops project strategies and tactics.
Provides subject matter knowledge and contributes to the knowledge base within the developing field related to the AI PC ecosystem which includes new methods, techniques and criteria for developing strategy analysis and recommendations.
Drives determination of key industry issues and conducts analysis on topics and issues, translates industry trends and challenges into opportunities and threats, and communicates findings.
Understands the methods and approaches of future trends analysis. Performs the analysis including gathering and plotting the data and developing insights.
Contributes innovative ideas and leads research and analytics, exercising independent judgment to solve unique and complex problem impacting the business.
Manages the development of data models, structures analytical approaches and oversees the data-gathering process.
Develops actionable recommendations and insights to support strategic planning.
Collaborates across businesses units to align strategy and direction with product innovation and partnership development in the AI PC category.
Education & Experience Recommended
Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Data Science, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in strategic management, strategic planning and implementation, consulting, market research, or a related field.

The base pay range for this role is $123,950 to $179,760 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
