About this opportunity

You will join our Innovation and Fund Reporting team based in Lisbon. The team is 15-strong people with a part of it focusing mainly on AI development. We seek to build a solid framework around AI technologies to simplify our processes, understand better the market, and invent the ways of working of tomorrow. You will have the chance to apply your theoretical and technical knowledge to real-world problems and be part of the deep transformation fuelled by AI.

What you’ll be doing:

• Build algorithms and use machine learning tools and statistical techniques to produce scalable solutions (LLM).
• Participate in the creation and maintenance of RAG databases (vector database).
• Participate in the deployments and maintenance of LLM models.
• Create and maintain data pipelines to support AI applications (Airflow, Kafka, etc).
• Writing maintainable, performant and well-tested code in Python.
• Maintain solution documentation and make sure it is up to date.

• Good understanding of RAG (chunking, retrieval, maintenance).
• Good understanding of Machine Learning techniques (Supervised/Unsupervised learning, Deep learning and Reinforcement learning).
• Good understanding of NLP techniques and text mining.
• Good understanding of the best practices in Prompt Engineering.
• An interest in finance related topics is valued.

Your experience and background:

• Innovative and like to sick new ways to solve issues.

Your experience and background: 

• Fluent in English (other European language are considered an asset).
• Master's in Computer Science, Maths or other numerate subject.
• Knowledge of key concepts in Statistics, Mathematics and data science.
• Prior experience in projects involving curation of large dataset and machine learning algorithm will be considered a valuable addition.
