Job Description

This role is within the IFS Enterprise Service Management Business Unit. The goal of IFS ESM is to recreate ITSM for the world of distributed working and citizen developers. We're taking traditional IT service management (ITSM) to the next level, offering employees across the entire enterprise the opportunity to work better and smarter. 

We are in a process of expanding the AI capabilities of the IFS assyst product, initially integrating Microsoft Azure AI services with the traditional technology stack. 

We require AI developers with a passion for problem solving to join our Team to complete Integration projects with AI Natural language and with model training skills to create pilot projects and to pro-actively resolve / suggest new uses for AI solutions in our product architecture. 

Qualifications

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or professional qualifications and 2+ years of work experience in developing & supporting production enterprise Applications. 

  • 1-2 years experience in working with recent AI modelling, Natural Language solutions or Chatbot frameworks. 

  • Knowledge in OpenAI, Azure AI search will be an added advantage.

  • Familiarity with Typescript, Powerscript, Python scripting. 

  • Experience with Azure AI services, Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine learning  

  • Familiarity with other AI toolsets – TensorFlow ,Scala, Apache Spark etc will be an advantage  

  • Good Team player. 

  • Excellent inter-personal skills, including the ability to work successfully in an Agile environment. 

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English in both verbally and written mediums with colleagues in a distributed international team.  

Desirable Skills & Experience: 

  • Familiarity with Eclipse or Visual Studio Code  

  • Work with tools such as Jenkins, and automated test technologies. 

  • Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or jQuery will be an advantage. 

  • Experience in Java server applications (Wildfly/JBOSS) 

  • Web development and support experience using DoJo, JavaScript, HTML, CSS. 

  • Experience in Java technologies (EJB3, Servlets, JSP) and RESTful APIs. 

  • Experience in Java persistence frameworks such as Hibernate/JPA 

  • RDBMS knowledge and experience, e.g., SQL Server and/or Oracle.  

  • Create a positive customer support experience and build strong relationships by developing a deep understanding of the problem, ensuring timely resolution or escalation. 

  • Prior experience in software production support will be an added advantage.
