Join us as an Artificial Intelligence Senior Development Lead! Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Senior Development Lead to join our AI Platform Team. As a development lead, you will write & test code, debug programs. You should have experience using server-side logic & work well in a team & in collaboration w/ stakeholder.

Some of your key responsibilities include:  
• Create, maintain, & improve code in Python, Java ensuring efficiency & scalability
• Develop back-end components to improve overall performance using Python, Java, etc.
• Integrate front-end user-facing elements into applications
• Design, development, & maintenance of robust data pipelines using Python & Databricks
• Optimize data ingestion, transformation, & storage for performance & scalability
• Manage the existing suite of applications across a variety of technical stacks
• Implement security & data protection solutions while assessing & prioritizing feature requests
• Help with management/guidance for more junior team members
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, business partners, clients, & other systems areas
• Write complex SQL queries for data manipulation & aggregation w/ experience in performance tuning of SQL queries, optimization of data caching, & resource allocation
• Auto build platforms/continuous integration experience (Jenkins, Hudson, Maven, Gradle)
• Work w/ Big Data Technologies (Apache Spark & distributed computing concepts)
• Know of & applying TDD principles in practices
• Interpret & troubleshoot applications using logs

Desired Qualifications:
• 10+ years of experience on a similar position
• Proficiency in Python programming language, Java and libraries, with a focus on its application in machine learning development & deployment
• Proficiency with Databricks/or equivalent, including integrating machine learning models into Databricks workflows
• Experience with Spring (MVC, Data, Security) & strong Web development skills (HTML, CSS, & JavaScript) & JavaScript frameworks (TypeScript, Angular, RxJS, CSS, SAAS)
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud
• Experience with Unix platforms
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Problem solving skills, able to determine upcoming risks & issues & address them
• Fluent English & good communication skills
• Attention to detail – Evidence of ensuring code quality & accuracy
