Nokia of America Corporation, AI Research Solutions Developer (Multiple Positions), Murray Hill, NJ.
- Design, test, and maintain AI-based research solutions that can integrate into Nokia products and design end to end framework of solution including methods for unit and comprehensive testing.
- Identify and explore methods to ensure data quality using data cleaning and engineering feature selection.
- Develop and optimize computer vision or NLP algorithms for various applications, including object detection, image recognition or recommender systems.
- Design statistical and deep neural network (DNN) based learning model architectures.
- Analyze customer requirements, formulating problem statement and identifying AI/ML core components.
- Build high-performing and scalable language models that can run on the cloud or edge devices.
- Accountable for quality and accuracy of own output.
- Responsible for contribution to teamwork.
- Carries out tasks/activities according to assignment and set guidelines.
- Demonstrates initiative and adaptability to changing business environments. #LI-DNI
Domestic travel required up to 15%.
International travel required up to 10%.
Telecommuting may be permitted up to 100% anywhere in the US.
Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience; OR a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and 1 year of related work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience with the following:
- Java, C/C++, Python, Javascript, or Go;
- Data cleaning;
- Building models, including TensorFlow or PyTorch;
- Packaging into Docker based microservices;
- Deploying end-to-end pipelines.
