Overview: 

Corndel is seeking an exceptional individual to join our Professional Development Expert (PDE) Team, delivering high-quality training and coaching in Microsoft 365 (M365) and AI. This role will support professionals in adopting and integrating AI-powered tools, enhancing digital literacy, and driving efficiency in their organisations.

This role requires technical expertise in M365, a solid understanding of AI (particularly Microsoft Copilot), and the ability to coach and mentor learners through our apprenticeship programme. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering engaging training sessions and supporting digital adoption in organisations.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive training aligned to our apprenticeship programme on Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power Automate.
  • Guide learners in adopting AI-powered features such as Microsoft Copilot, ensuring they understand AI productivity, security, and ethical considerations.
  • Provide training and guidance to learning on how to deliver hands-on digital support, diagnosing and resolving application issues, monitoring system use, and promoting best practices in data security.
  • Coach and mentor learners, helping them build confidence in their digital skills and successfully integrate AI and M365 tools into their role and organisations.
  • Adapt communication and training delivery to suit technical and non-technical learners, ensuring clarity and engagement.
  • Support learners in driving adoption of AI tools within their organisations, handling objections, and recognising opportunities to enhance workflows.
  • Ensure learners progress through training materials and assessment tasks in a timely manner, providing ongoing feedback and additional resources.
  • Keep up to date with emerging digital technologies, particularly AI trends, and continuously develop personal expertise.

Technical Skills and Competencies:

  • Technical Expertise in M365 & AI: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications and AI-powered features such as Microsoft Copilot. A good understanding of AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) is highly beneficial.
  • Digital Support Experience: Hands-on experience troubleshooting application issues, training colleagues, and ensuring digital security best practices. Familiarity with helpdesk operations is a plus.
  • Engaging & Adaptable Communication: Ability to deliver dynamic training sessions and tailor communication to different audiences.
  • Coaching Mindset: Passionate about guiding learners and supporting their digital development.
  • Change Management & AI Adoption: Understanding of how organisations respond to technological change, with the ability to support learners in overcoming resistance and driving AI adoption.
  • Results-Oriented & Supportive: Committed to learner success, providing high-quality feedback and additional support to ensure competency.
  • Continuous Learner: Proactively engages with emerging digital and AI trends, maintaining expertise in evolving tools and technologies.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • A teaching qualification or significant experience in training and developing professionals.
  • Experience delivering training in a corporate or professional development setting.
  • Microsoft Certified Trainer status (desirable).
  • ITIL qualification (desirable).
  • Practical experience with Power Automate and Copilot Studio (highly advantageous).
  • Strong ability to adapt content and delivery style to different audience levels.
  • No programming or data engineering skills required.
