Query the future with Kumo. We are seeking a dynamic and strategic AI Marketer – Growth & Community to join our growing team. This role is designed for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment and is excited to leverage AI tools to drive growth, mindshare, and community engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in either product marketing or growth, particularly in a technical space. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative marketing strategies to engage both users and buyers, particularly in the technical space. You will play a critical role in driving adoption, retention, and advocacy, all while leveraging AI tools and insights to optimize campaign performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Growth Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement AI-driven marketing strategies that accelerate growth through both user acquisition and retention initiatives.
Community Engagement: Build and nurture an active and loyal community around our product, leveraging online platforms, social media, and events to foster engagement and advocacy.
Content Marketing: Create and optimize AI-based content for various channels (blogs, social media, newsletters, etc.) to drive brand awareness and inbound traffic.
Marketing Operations: Manage marketing operations, including campaign tracking, analytics, automation, and optimization, ensuring campaigns are delivered effectively and within timelines.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with product, sales, and customer success teams to ensure alignment of messaging and go-to-market strategies.
Startup Mindset: Work closely with leadership to develop and prioritize marketing initiatives with a focus on high-impact, cost-effective campaigns.
Basic Qualifications (Must Haves):
4-8+ years of experience in a growth marketing role, ideally in a startup or high-growth environment.
Proven experience with AI-driven marketing strategies and tools (AI content generation, marketing automation, analytics, etc.).
Strong track record of building and scaling communities (online or offline) around a product or brand.
Demonstrated ability to handle end-to-end marketing operations, from campaign ideation to execution and performance analysis.
Solid understanding of marketing analytics and data-driven decision making.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and in a highly collaborative environment.
Experience as the first marketing hire at a high-growth startup, with the ability to scale marketing efforts from the ground up and thrive in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.
Experience marketing to a technical audience or having marketed a technical product, with a deep understanding of how to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical buyers.
