As the AI Manager, you will work closely with the CIO to develop and implement AI strategies that enhance our engineering and architectural design processes. You will lead a team of AI specialists and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions that drive efficiency, innovation, and competitive advantage. Additionally, you will be responsible for leveraging AI to optimize and improve the systems used to run the business, ensuring that our operations are efficient, data-driven, and aligned with our strategic goals

We are seeking a visionary AI Manager to join our dynamic team and help steer the direction of AI initiatives within our organization. This position can be out of any of our following offices: Chicago, Milwaukee, Dallas, Orlando, Miami, Los Angeles, Riverside, San Diego, Washington DC, Atlanta, New York or Houston offices!
What a day at EXP has in store for you
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute AI strategies aligned with the company's goals and vision. Identify opportunities for AI integration in the business as well as engineering and architectural practices.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of AI specialists. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Project Management: Oversee the development and deployment of AI projects from conception to completion. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, architectural, and IT teams to understand their needs and provide AI solutions that enhance their workflows.
Research and Development: Stay abreast of the latest AI trends, technologies, and best practices. Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the AI team.
Data Management: Ensure the effective collection, storage, and utilization of data for AI applications. Implement data governance and security measures.
Performance Monitoring: Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the success and impact of AI initiatives. Provide regular reports to the CIO and other stakeholders.
What your experience looks like
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in AI, machine learning, or data science roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial position.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in AI and machine learning frameworks, programming languages and data analysis tools.
Industry Knowledge: Experience in the engineering or architectural design industry is highly desirable.
Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills. Ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to think strategically and drive innovative solutions.

The pay range for this role is $100,000 to $150,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
