We are currently looking for an AI Engineer to join our expert Advanced Analytics practice!
What’s the role about?
Your day to day will contain some of the following:
Work on designing and developing AI algorithms and models, mostly in Python.
Work on designing and developing solutions that leverage LLMs.
Collaborate with other team members, such as data scientists, software developers, and domain experts, to exchange ideas, discuss progress, and gather feedback. This could involve participating in meetings, sharing updates, and providing technical guidance to ensure smooth coordination across the team.
Review the progress of ongoing projects, check the status of any scheduled tasks, and plan the tasks for the day. This might involve discussing project requirements and timelines with team members or stakeholders.
Review literature to find new trends that could be adopted so as to either refine existing solutions or implement new ones. This ongoing learning helps you expand your knowledge and improve your skills, enabling you to apply cutting-edge techniques to your projects.
Documentation, including processes, methodologies and results, so as to ensure that all involved team members are up-to-date with your progress and your work is reproducible.
Occasional participation in client meetings with the aim of either translating business needs into actual ML/AI solutions or communicating your findings in a concise and easy to digest manner.
To be considered for the role we ask that you have:
MSc degree in STEM or PhD in equivalent field (PhD will be considered a bonus, not a prerequisite).
1/2+ years of experience in a Data Scientist/ML Engineer role with exposure in both supervised and unsupervised learning problems (semi-supervised will be considered a bonus).
Relative exposure to Deep Learning, involving FFN/CNN/LSTM/Transformer/ViT architectures, in both theory and practice.
Proven experience and good knowledge of Python along with its core ML-related libraries, e.g. numpy, pandas, scikit-learn, hyperopt (optuna or something equivalent), xgboost, lightgbm, pytorch (preferred over Tensorflow/Keras).
Exposure to cloud technologies (i.e. Azure, AWS).
Utilize Git for version control to manage code repositories effectively.
Experience with Docker (Kubernetes will be considered a bonus).
Fluency in English, with good communication and writing skills.
Bonus points if you have:
Proven experience with HuggingFace transformers.
Hands on experience with LangChain/Semantic Kernel/Haystack/LlamaIndex.
Experience with Azure Cognitive Services, Azure OpenAI, Azure Cognitive Search.
Experience with vectorstores and efficient vector similarity search, along with relevant third-party services/libraries (FAISS, Pinecone, RedisSearch etc.).
