About the Position
The AI Enablement Lead will be a member of the Innovation Enablement team, reporting to the Innovation Enablement Manager. The enablement team is responsible for raising AI skills to improve general productivity across the organization, facilitating AI innovation initiatives, and selecting enterprise platforms to support our automation ambitions. This year, we will be working to drive adoption of self-serve AI capabilities and evaluating market offerings to solve more advanced use-cases supporting business solution teams across Claims, Operations, Underwriting, Finance, Legal, Investments and Corporate functions.
This strategic AI Enablement Lead role is based in the London office and will be expected to travel primarily within the continental United States and to Bermuda, with select travel to other RenRe offices (Dublin and Zurich).
Responsibilities will include:
Understanding potential AI use-cases and driving AI solution & skills development
Monitoring the AI landscape for potentially useful GenAI capabilities and vendors
Facilitating POC’s of promising tools in collaboration with stakeholders
Driving enhanced AI literacy across the organization evidenced by increased usage of AI tools
Facilitating an AI community of practice to build excitement and enable shared learnings
Contribute to capturing and communicating research findings in the GenAI and automation space

To be successful in this role, essential skills and experience include:
GenAI and automation technology fundamentals:
Deep understanding of GenAI and automation solution fundamentals and how to apply to solve productivity challenges
Experience demonstrating how to leverage AI tools to streamline a diverse set of productivity challenges in an AI innovation, consulting or sales engineering function highly beneficial.
A passion for productivity - understanding and helping folks solve challenges with technology
The ability to converse with clients to understand challenges and identify where GenAI solutions can support their productivity ambitions
Strong training and mentoring and skills to empower clients to use self-service AI tools to streamline tasks
Communication and engagement:
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment supporting stakeholders at all levels
Regular, pro-active engagement with business and IT teams
Experience curating and communicating best practices to cross-functional teams
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong organisation skills with goal-driven focus
Pipeline management
Keeping pulse of demand for GenAI solutions within the organization
Tracking any active engagements, enquiries and follow up
Assist in shaping the right sized execution mechanisms for efficiency AI initiatives
This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, enjoys working with cutting-edge technologies and has a passion for creating efficient, innovative solutions in fast changing ecosystem, preferably with exposure to Insurance / Re-insurance.
