The Ethernet-based network infrastructure is evolving fast with the development of data centers. AI nowadays is driving the data center network to higher speed, lower latency, higher reliability, and at the same time demanding lower power per bit of transmission.

The Applied Network Technologies Laboratory in MRC is extensively involved in diverse research topics for future Ethernet technologies. AI DC Ethernet Research Intern (Master/PhD internship)

Your mission

• Learn and analyze the current industry status and future trend of Ethernet for data center applications
• Review and summarize the state-of-the-art in academic conferences, standard organizations, and industry alliances
• Explore networking technologies to enable low-latency, high-reliability and low-power datacenter communication
• Assist the experts in document preparation.

Your areas of expertise

• Master or PhD in CS, IEE, IT or other related disciplines, passionate about innovations and technology
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese (B2+ level).
