The Role:
You’ll join our AI team, whose mission is to research and develop scalable, high-performing features for our AI-powered creative platform, empowering users with greater authority and influence over their digital artwork.
At Leonardo.Ai, you will play a crucial role in building efficient data collection and loading pipelines, transforming raw data into actionable insights, and driving our SaaS self-serve user base to new heights. Your contributions will be instrumental in developing our next-gen products and the growth of our company.
What you’ll do:
Data Curation: Establish and maintain a robust and scalable data infrastructure to support the efforts of the AI research team. You will understand the AI training architecture to deliver end-point data products that can be ingested into model training to deliver cutting-edge results.
High-Performance Computing: Work with high-performance computing at scale and optimise pipelines for on-time asset delivery.
Data Ops: Curate and deliver peta-scale multi-modal-faceted data to drive AI model training and development. You will read the latest AI-based literature and select the most appropriate models and techniques to apply to our data filtering strategy.
Competitive Edge: Your role will be to stay ahead of industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies. You will help us maintain our competitive edge in the market by providing insights and recommendations, keeping you challenged and motivated.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers and AI engineers to prioritise data features to drive the best output for the product and the customer.
Skills We Love You To Have:
Petascale multimodal data processing.
Knowledge of vector databases, principles of data engineering and pipelines.
Creating classifiers and use of other AI-based tooling for data filtering.
Familiarity with the role of synthetic data.

Round 1 - Meet Your Recruiter:
Our Talent team will reach out and arrange a 30-minute video call where you'll cover your experience, skills, and career motivations. You'll also get essential context about the role, the team, and how you can contribute towards our goals.
Round 2 - Craft Interview:
You'll meet some team members to discuss the technical task in more depth, work through some technical questions related to your expertise and cover past projects, experience and career aspirations.
Round 3 - Technical Task:
If you're applying for a technical role, you may be given a short take-home task to assess your skills and approach to problem-solving. This could be a real-life business scenario to unpack, a presentation, a test or a collaboration exercise. (Please note, depending on the role, the order of rounds 2 & 3 are interchangeable)
Round 4 - Values interview:
You'll be able to meet with the Department Head for a short, informal conversation to understand your potential impact, the growth area we can support, and how aligned you are with our values and culture.
