As a Manager/Senior Manager you will be expected to lead and develop a team of resources as well as being heavily involved in the management of the sales process. You will lead in our ongoing talent agenda – ensuring we provide the best talent experience within our realm amongst our competitors. 
 

Our team are data enthusiasts and comprise of data engineers, analysts and scientists. Businesses today gather an ever-increasing wealth of structured and unstructured data from a myriad of sources but often are not extracting the full value from this information. Our team design and build architectures, automate processes, create interactive visualisations, search for patterns and develop predictive models in order to bring actionable insight from data, complementing these abilities with deep industry knowledge from their own gathered experiences as well as from across the Deloitte network. Our team works cross-functionally with other areas within Consulting (Human Capital, Customer & Marketing, Cloud Engineering, Operations Transformation etc.) and other Business Units (Risk Advisory etc.) and gain a broad knowledge of working models and industry sectors. 

 

About the role: 

  • Lead client engagement work in a variety of industries, areas and specialisms 
  • Nurture strong client relationships that build trust and grow opportunities 
  • Identify potential business development opportunities in Data Governance, Data Management, Analytics & AI etc. 
  • Scope, lead and set the direction of innovative solutions, using latest open source and proprietary technologies, our alliance network, and best in class methods and tools (Projects could include: Data Strategy, Business Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence, Data on Cloud, Data Architecture etc.) 
  • Work effectively and lead diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution 
  • Exploit industry best practices, Deloitte global network and your experience to create business solutions for our clients 
  • Coach and mentor junior team members, aligning role responsibilities to their own learning objectives and needs 

  

About you: 

  • A minimum of a third level degree in Maths, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline  
  • Extensive consulting or industry-based experience  
  • Experience leading and motivating teams, that ensures best outcomes along with ability to work effectively within an inclusive team to achieve common goals   
  • Experience leading and delivering data related projects   
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders, providing quality advice based on leading industry practices   
  • Familiar with best practice project management methods, tools and techniques   
  • Commercial experience in an information/data management role   
  • Good knowledge of or exposure to machine learning, data mining, data visualisation, and artificial intelligence techniques
