What you'll be doing 👀 
Roughly 50% of your time will devoted to growth; creating and converting opportunities in the climate tech world with direct customers, investors and partners, and adjusting our sales strategy accordingly. The other 50% of your time is devoted to climate tech accounts; either to scope the AI strategy during the audit, being our initial collaboration with clients, or to work together with our engineers to realize AI development projects, where you will lead the account and project.  

You will be building strong relations with both existing and new clients and position Enjins and yourself as the go-to partner of AI development within ClimateTech. Responsibilities [including but not limited to]:  

  • Grow our footprint in our climate tech sub industries: energy, circular economy, and climate modelling. 
  • Be a representative of Enjins within the climate tech industry, where you enjoy. 
  • Expanding our network, speak in public, go to events, and create introductions. 
  • Create and convert opportunities for exciting AI projects at climate tech companies. 
  • Work together with our AI engineers to technically scope opportunities. 
  • Concretize the potential of data & AI for a climate tech start-up into a compelling strategy during the initial strategy phase of a new client (called The Audit). 
  • Execute complex projects where data & AI solutions deliver the envisioned value in collaboration with our engineers and client. 
  • Leverage your knowledge of climate tech innovations with diverse type of people and build strong and effective relationships. From founders to investors; from sustainability leads to hardware specialists; and from energy experts to technology leads like the head of data.  
  • Partner with our founders, CCO and AI Strategy Leads to achieve high customer satisfaction. 
  • Spot common bottlenecks in our climate tech sales exeuction and continuously improve sales strategy 
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to align sales efforts with market credibility-building initiatives

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:🚶‍♀️ 

  • The ambition to work on the intersection of AI and Climate Tech 
  • 3+ years of experience in consulting roles, sales roles, or account management roles 
  • Knowledge of climate tech innovation within one of the sub industries: energy, circular economy, climate modeling  
  • Network in climate tech scale-ups 
  • Solid relationship and project management skills 
  • Passionate about climate tech innovations that you can convey to others 
  • Demonstrated ability to open new accounts and run a sales process  
  • Ability to articulate the business value of Data & AI technology  
  • Fluency in both Dutch and English with eligibility to work in the Netherlands. 

Preferred Qualifications: 🏃‍♀️ 

  • You have a strong network in one of our other focus industries (marketplaces and mobility) 
  • Network among investors (venture capital & private equity) 
  • You have experience in a consultancy/service heavy sales context.  
  • You have a strong interest in the field of AI & Machine Learning
