An exciting opportunity has emerged within the Business Management team supporting the JPM Asset Management Investment Platform. We are seeking a dynamic professional to join our team. 

As an Asset Management AI Business Manager, you will be responsible for driving and supporting AI initiatives across Asset Management.This role offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of AI innovation within Asset Management, contributing to the strategic initiatives that drive our business forward.

Job responsibilities

  • Become a subject matter expert in the end-to-end firmwide and Asset Management requirements for AI use cases, working closely with Asset Management Data Science strategists, Data Scientists, and use case owners.
  • Maintain and provide accurate information on all Asset Management AI use cases via the internal inventory tool (LUMA).
  • Ensure the completion of all approval requirements with the necessary evidence and support.
  • Represent use cases at internal forums (e.g., data use council, data privacy assessments) in partnership with the Line of Business during the onboarding phase.
  • Assist use case owners and developers with risk assessments, compliance, control, and operational risk challenges throughout the approval process. 
  • Support the Asset Management Data Science Team and Asset Management line of business during any required audits.
  • Coordinate with external content providers on use cases, arrange demos, and work with internal legal and sourcing teams to execute contractual agreements promptly.
  • Maintain disciplined information logging and evidence collection for audit purposes.
  • Collaborate closely with the Asset Management Investment Platform AI Controls Lead and line of business Control Managers to provide continuous feedback on the AI use case onboarding process. 
  • Partner with the Asset Management Investment Platform AI Controls Lead on any policy changes impacting ongoing and new use cases to ensure compliance. 
  • Prepare materials, gather data, track progress, and follow ups as needed.

Required qualifications capabilities and skills

  • 2 years+ work experience with an understanding of financial markets, asset management or related experience. 
  • Experience managing complex, fast-paced and multi-faceted projects and adaptable to meet changing requirements and priorities
  • Ability to problem-solve, methodical and self-disciplined with key attention to detail
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with a willingness to work hard to develop a knowledge base 
  • Pro-active and excellent communicator with the ability to connect with audiences across different seniority levels 
  • Team player; creative and solutions-oriented
  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint skills
