Job Description:

HPE's Hybrid Cloud Solution and GTM organization is hiring a Private Cloud AI Business Development Manager . This role is responsible for driving business growth by developing new business or new ways to grow revenue of existing business. Leads the development and execution of pipeline generation initiatives and programs. Guides and enables GEOs to execute the initiatives and drive PCAI pipeline generation. Devises and executes a growth plan that meets business goals for a given geographic and/or service business area; including accountability for achieving revenue & order targets. Builds high-quality funnels that generate customer demand in partnership with marketing & sales.

This role entails: 

Be the PCAI SME 

  • PCAI product, market and customer expert and advocate, being ready to identify and address all misconceptions amongst sellers 
  • Continuous evolution towards standardizing and scaling the business model 
  • Comfortable with absorbing vast amounts of market intelligence data, data from industry analyst white papers, etc. related to AI. 

Be the WW PCAI GTM single point of contact for assigned GEOs: 

  • Cross collaboration with stakeholders in different functions/organizations 
  • Constantly and consistently communicate with GEO sales leaders, account managers, category managers, delivering PCAI updates, news and reinforcing the value proposition, positioning, differentiators 
  • Develop relationships and build credibility with GEO sellers and business leaders to become the PCAI Go-to-market trusted advisor, and utilize that credibility to influence sellers to act in addressing the PCAI conversation with their customers 
  • Gather feedback from the field and customers about issues with PCAI product, tools, assets, programs and all-around GTM resources, distill the issues and either find a solution or raise a flag to the respective business function for resolution  
  • Collaborate with the WW Sales Readiness team on both the AI content and well as leveraging their enablement platform.  

Execute on GTM plan with GEOs 

  • Alignment with GTM and Sales group on the initiatives designed 
  • Collaborate with the WW Sales Readiness team on both the AI content and well as leveraging their enablement platform.  
  • Drive program execution of assigned strategic GTM initiatives globally, including training, enablement, pipeline generation and sales acceleration 
  • Track execution with Geo owners, measure success, provide assistance and support as required for continuous improvement 
  • Take ownership and accountability for Geo program execution and results, while driving change and adjustments with the Geo counterparts and stakeholders 
  • Excellent communication, project management and data visualization skills. 
  • Key stakeholders: Private Cloud AI Sales, Hybrid Cloud Business Unit, Storage Business Unit, Compute Business Unit, HPC Business unit, Sales Enablement, Sales Strategy and Planning, CMI analytics, WW Data Science Team, WW and GEO Ecosystem (Channel and Distributors)

Education and Experience Required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or computer science. Masters preferred. 
  • 10+ years of experience in sales, product positioning, marketing to drive demand generation campaigns or content development, and interfacing with customers.
  • Previous experience within AI, Public, On-prem Cloud, Hybrid Cloud, XaaS, Data Management and Software industry vertical is highly preferred
  • Previous project management experience is required
  • Excellent PowerPoint skills required to communicate and present ideas to the stakeholders 
  • Knowledge of advisory professional services portfolio is preferred

Knowledge and Skills: 

  • Customer profiling skills 
  • Excellent understanding of the AI and Generative AI market and trends, its related use cases and customer outcomes 
  • Program development and management skills from past roles 
  • Project management skills 
  • Strong analytical skills to identify TAM size for the respective use cases 
  • Understands the end-to-end GTM process for GEOs to successfully execute at the field level 
  • Understands business and sales processing tools, systems and practices 
  • Comfortable in absorbing data points presented in Power BI.  
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills 
  • Strong in teamwork and collaboration 
  • Financially savvy to meet financial targets.
