Insulet Corporation, maker of the OmniPod, is the leader in tubeless insulin pump technology. We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Automation Software Test Engineer to join our team. As an Automation Software Test Engineer, you will be responsible for creating scripts to test the software application to ensure they meet quality standards and functional requirements. You will be part of the testing effort related to product development and product modifications, ensuring that software for on-market products has been effectively and efficiently verified and validated prior to its release and that these designs effectively meet their requirements. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts to support software validation and regression testing.
• Automation experience with AI based frameworks.
• Development of AI Features within Automation is a plus.
• Execute automated test suites to diagnose issues, verify bug fixes, and ensure new features maintain system integrity.
• Analyze test results, identify software defects, and document findings for triage and resolution.
• Maintain detailed test documentation to support debugging and future testing efforts.
• Contribute to test strategy improvements and automation best practices.
• Collaborate with manual QA engineers and developers to design effective test cases, including edge cases and unconventional user scenarios.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of test results and processes.
   

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in software test automation, software development, or QA engineering preferred
• Proficiency in test automation frameworks 
• Solid programming experience in Python (or similar scripting languages)
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience in writing and executing test plans and test scripts.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
