We are looking for an AI and Innovation Portfolio Manager to join our team of experts in developing cutting-edge solutions for various domains such as Customer Contact, Engine Maintenance, etc. You will be responsible for managing the consolidated portfolio including all initiatives in Ai and Innovation from all the Operating Companies in the group (Iberia, British Airways, Aer Lingus, Vueling, Level, Loyalty and Cargo).

Job Description

As an AI and Innovation Portfolio Manager, you will play a key role in consolidating and managing the innovation and artificial intelligence portfolio of the group, composed of 6 Operating Companies (OpCos) with different agendas and priorities plus two supporting  OpCos. You will manage two portfolios per OpCo, one for innovation and one for artificial intelligence, and ensure alignment and synergy between them. You will build strong relationships with the Heads of Innovation and Artificial Intelligence of each OpCo, and design and implement the best practices and processes to ensure effective communication and alignment across the group. You will also support the development and execution of the group's innovation and artificial intelligence strategy, aligned with its vision, mission, and values.

As a portfolio manager, you will be responsible for:

• Consolidating the portfolio of the 6 OpCos of the group, each with its own innovation and artificial intelligence agenda and priorities.
• Managing two portfolios per OpCo, one for innovation and one for artificial intelligence, and ensuring alignment and synergy between them.
• Building a rapport with each Head of Innovation and Artificial Intelligence of each OpCo and understanding their needs, challenges, and opportunities.
• Designing and implementing the right structures and processes to ensure the right flow of information upwards and downwards, enabling effective decision making and alignment across the group.
• Monitoring and reporting on the performance and progress of the portfolio, identifying risks, issues, and dependencies, and proposing solutions and recommendations.
• Supporting the development and execution of the group's innovation and artificial intelligence strategy, ensuring alignment with the group's vision, mission, and values.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A bachelor's degree or higher in business, engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in portfolio management, innovation management, artificial intelligence management, or a similar role.
• A proven track record of delivering results in complex and dynamic environments.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build trust and rapport with senior stakeholders across different cultures and backgrounds.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills, and the ability to synthesize and communicate complex information.
• A passion for innovation and artificial intelligence and a curiosity for new trends, technologies, and opportunities.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively between Madrid, Barcelona, London and Dublin, and other locations as needed.
• Fluency in English
