CCG-PEG-PV- System Integration and Validation (SIV) team is responsible for validating all CCG platforms such as Desktop, AIO, Clamshell, Detachable notebooks/Tablets products. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced AI and Automation Technologist to join our Computer Platform Validation team. In this role, the individual is responsible for revolutionizing traditional manual validation and debug processes, transforming them into fully automated, intelligent systems that aim to reduce human intervention, enhance accuracy, and scale validation workflows to meet increasing demands. Prior experience/knowledge with system validation, defect tracking, and indicators is required. The ideal candidate will leverage a combination of business acumen, organizational savvy, and expertise in key technical areas to guide cross-functional teams to deliver products and programs successfully. Must have experience leading and driving technical discussions with Intel's technical community, 3rd parties, and partners such as Microsoft As a AI Technologist  your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: 
  • AI technologist will focus on leveraging advanced capabilities in Deep Learning, Generative AI, and Agentic AI to revolutionize traditional manual validation and debug processes, transforming them into fully automated, intelligent systems that aim to reduce human intervention, enhance accuracy, and scale validation workflows to meet increasing demands
  •  AI Technologist will work with internal validation to deliver AI based modernization of system integration and validation solutions for client products execution
  •  Design and develop AI powered validation tools and intelligent automation environments for platform systems software testing on compute platforms
  •  AI Technologist will lead the development of self-reasoning systems for improved test case generation, enhancing fault resolution quality, creating AI-assisted debugging solutions for both internal and customer issues, and building automated recommendation systems. Analyzing and elevating the overall customer experience will be crucial for long-term success
  •  Collaborate with hardware and software teams to create robust test strategies for platform components (BIOS, firmware, drivers, OS, middleware, etc.).
  •  Build intelligent data analytics dashboards to track software quality metrics, detect regressions, and drive continuous improvements.
  •  Develop and maintain test infrastructure and frameworks (Python, C++, Jenkins etc.) for scalable and reusable automation.
  •  Participate in code reviews, debug platform-level issues, and contribute to root cause analysis efforts.
  •  Integrate LLMs or Gen AI solutions to automate ticket triaging, test report generation, and knowledge management within validation teams

  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership to guide and mentor teams, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive projects to completion.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Minimum qualifications: 
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in software development or validation engineering, with at least 2-3 years in AI/ML-driven test automation.
  • Proficiency in Python, C++, or Java; familiarity with test frameworks and automation tools (e.g., PyTest, Robot Framework, Selenium, etc.).
  Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Understanding of AI eco-system players - OxM, ISV and partners

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US:

$188,700.00-$266,400.00

Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. * Job posting details (such as work model, location or time type) are subject to change.
