Role Purpose

PIC is looking for an AI & Analytics Product Manager is a key role within the AI & Analytics Centre of Excellence (COE), responsible for actively managing the overall portfolio of AI & Analytics initiatives across the organisation. This role offers the opportunity to shape the organisation’s AI & Analytics strategy, driving the delivery of a diverse portfolio of AI & Analytics initiatives while owning the development and success of specific AI & Analytics products.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the overall portfolio of AI & Analytics work, ensuring all initiatives align with organisational goals and deliver measurable value.
  • Manage dependencies and prioritise initiatives within the AI & Analytics portfolio, balancing resources and timelines across workstreams.
  • Collaborate with the AI Working Group and AI & Analytics COE Leadership to develop and refine the broader AI portfolio strategy
  • Act as the primary interface between the AI & Analytics COE, business stakeholders, and delivery teams, ensuring expectations are aligned and requirements are clear
  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of AI & Analytics solutions, ensuring quality, timeliness, and adherence to budget
  • Work closely with technical teams to ensure solutions are developed using best practices and align with AI governance and compliance standards.

Requirements

Knowledge, experience, skills and abilities

Recognised qualification in AI or other relevant qualification such as CQF or Actuary

Technical

  • Good technical knowledge of AI concepts, including Gen-AI, Natural Language Processing (NLP), machine learning, and data science principles
  • Familiar with AI/ML tools and frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Azure Machine Learning, understanding of data architecture and pipelines to enable seamless integration of AI solutions, MLOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, model monitoring, and versioning
  • Experience of delivering with the roll out and governance of Third Party provided AI tools
  • Experience of enterprise-level AI governance, compliance, and risk management
  • Experience of enterprise-level AI governance, compliance, and risk management

Personal

  • Experience in managing a portfolio of technology or AI initiatives, balancing priorities and resources
  • Extensive experience in stakeholder management engaging with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience applying an analytical mindset with a focus on solving complex problems and delivering business value
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and drive delivery in fast-paced Agile or Scrum environments
