About the Role:

Cypris is seeking a dedicated Account Manager to join our customer success team, ideally based in New York City or Los Angeles, so you can be close to one of our founders. As an Account Manager, you will play a critical role in managing and expanding our existing client relationships. You will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction, driving renewals, and identifying opportunities for account growth. Your ability to build strong, lasting relationships with our clients will be key to your success in this role. 

In this Role You Will:

  • Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure high satisfaction and retention
  • Be accountable for the commercial relationship between Cypris and the customer
  • Work directly with R&D and innovation leaders to support their strategic decisions
  • Lead the renewal process by engaging with clients well in advance of their contract end date
  • Continuously drive and build value to help customers recognize return on investment
  • Identify and pursue account growth opportunities through upselling and cross-selling
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, resolving issues promptly
  • Collaborate with sales, customer success, marketing, and product teams to deliver a seamless experience
  • Support customer success team members with client training and bi-weekly meetings
  • Monitor client usage data and provide insights to support their goals
  • Conduct regular check-ins and business reviews to ensure client success
  • Drive strategies that promote engagement and product adoption

Requirements

A Key Candidate Will Have:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • A proven track record of managing client relationships and growing accounts
  • Proven success with MEDDIC and challenger sales methodologies
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with SaaS products and a quick learning curve for new technology
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts
  • A proactive, self-motivated attitude and a passion for customer success
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Evidence of attaining over 90% GRR and 100% NRR annual and quarterly quotas year-over-year
    Experience working with clients within the Global 2000
  • Experience in both startup and established environments, with the ability to support scaling and adapt alongside company growth
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.com, sales outreach tools like Salesloft, and prospecting tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, or ZoomInfo

What does the interview process look like?

The process depends on the role. For all positions, we like to start with a quick intro call just to make sure we're aligned.

From there, we typically do a longer (45min) call with one of our team members that can appropriately vet your skills & "speak your language" - on the engineering side, this might mean some technical questions, while on the sales side we ask you to build a quick presentation about yourself.
