Staff Accountant to join our growing finance team. This full-time role will report to the CFO and play a key part in supporting day-to-day accounting operations, monthly close, and financial reporting. This is a hands-on role suited for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and wants to grow their accounting career in a scaling technology company.You’ll work closely with the broader finance and business teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and process improvements across our accounting function.
What You'll Get To Do
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage AP and AR processes, including invoice processing, vendor setup, billing, and collections.
- General Ledger Management: Post journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and assist with accruals and prepaids.
- Month-End Close Support: Help prepare financial statements (Income Statement, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet) and ensure timely, accurate close processes.
- Expense Tracking: Review employee expense submissions via Brex and ensure proper coding and approvals.
- Accounting Systems: Maintain and improve the integrity of data in QuickBooks and other integrated tools.
- Compliance Support: Assist with tax filings, audit prep, and coordination with external accountants.
What You Have
- 3–5 years of experience in accounting or finance operations
- Solid understanding of accounting principles (US GAAP preferred)
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks and Brex (or similar tools)
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills (vlookups, pivots, etc.)
- High attention to detail, organized, and deadline-oriented
- Eagerness to learn and thrive in a fast-moving, collaborative environment
What Will Set You Apart
- CPA candidate or partial certification (preferred, not required)
- Experience at a startup or fast-growth company
- Familiarity with accounting for software, services, or robotics companies
