Junior Recruiter (Contract) to join our Talent Acquisition team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on candidate engagement and collaboration with hiring teams. The Junior Recruiter will play a central role in pre-screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and serving as a key communication bridge between applicants and hiring managers. Your ability to gather, synthesize, and communicate feedback will directly impact the success of our hiring efforts.
What You'll Get To Do
- Candidate Pre-Screening & Evaluation
- Conduct thorough phone and video pre-screens (google meet) to evaluate candidate experience, motivation, and fit for the role.
- Use structured interview guides to ensure consistency and quality of assessments.
- Present detailed candidate summaries and recommendations for hiring managers to facilitate decision-making.
- Hiring Team Collaboration
- Act as a liaison between candidates and hiring managers throughout the early stages of the hiring process.
- Schedule interviews and prepare hiring managers with candidate insights and pre-screen findings.
- Attend and document interview debriefs, capturing feedback from interviewers and surfacing key takeaways.
- Feedback Gathering & Process Optimization
- Ensure timely collection of candidate feedback from interviewers and escalate inconsistencies or delays.
- Maintain clear documentation of all candidate interactions and feedback within the ATS (Lever).
- Proactively identify themes or areas for improvement in candidate quality and interview processes.
- General Recruitment Support
- Post job openings on internal and external platforms.
- Keep candidates informed and engaged through transparent and prompt communication.
- Support recruitment reporting efforts by tracking stage-to-stage conversion rates and candidate satisfaction metrics.
- Maintain and update reports using Google Docs and Google Sheets.
- Guide candidates through their onsite interviews, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.
What You Have
- Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- 2+ years of experience specifically in recruiting or talent operations.
- Extra strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey detailed candidate profiles and feedback.
- High emotional intelligence and professional demeanor in dealing with candidates and hiring stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks.
What Will Set You Apart
- Experience using an applicant tracking system (Lever preferred).
- Prior experience facilitating interview debriefs or collecting stakeholder feedback.
- Understanding candidate assessment best practices.
