The Future Talent Program features internships that last up to 12 weeks and will include one or more projects. Working cross functionally we are inventing new ways of communicating, measuring, and interacting with our customers and patients leveraging digital, data and analytics.
Our company’s AI/ML product group within the Human Health Commercial Analytics Solutions department is seeking a summer intern to design and develop high-quality, compelling AI products to drive programmatic decision making, learning and adaptation. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand user needs, data use cases, and develop clear and compelling data products that transform data into interactive and dynamic visualizations to convey analytical insights, demonstrate results, and communicate analytical findings. You will create understanding and empathy. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of Data Science, AI/ML, and Analytics solutions to improve process efficiency and product quality, and enhance our compliance.
Position Responsibilities:
Candidates must be able to commit to full-time onsite (or hybrid if applicable) employment for 10 - 12 weeks beginning June 2025
Build data science solutions that generate actionable insights, and lead the development of data visualization tools, dashboards, and reports that provide clear and concise data-driven insights.
Develop, implement, and validate AI and ML algorithms to analyze large datasets, identify patterns, and predict outcomes.
Utilize analytics techniques to extract meaningful insights from complex data sources, contributing to informed decision-making.
Perform advanced data cleaning, preprocessing, feature engineering, and statistical modeling.
Develop and implement Generative AI models and algorithms for tasks such as text generation, image synthesis, and recommendation systems.
Apply Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques to process and analyze text data, enhancing the capabilities of AI-driven solutions.
Explore and integrate advanced GenAI techniques to improve the accuracy and efficiency of data-driven insights and decision-making processes.
Utilize cloud technologies, such as AWS or Azure, to deploy and scale AI and ML models in a production environment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI and ML solutions into existing workflows and systems.
Work closely with product owners to understand business requirements, translate it to technical requirements and rapidly assess feasibility.
Assist in the development of visualization dashboards and reports to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
Required Education and Experience:
Enrolled in a master’s or PhD program in a relevant field, such as mathematics, data science, computer science, or a related quantitative discipline.
Strong knowledge and practical experience in analytics, AI, and ML techniques, including statistical modeling, predictive analysis, and machine learning algorithms.
Experience in developing and implementing Generative AI models and algorithms.
Solid understanding of data manipulation, data cleaning, and feature engineering techniques.
Proficiency in Python and/or R for data exploration, preprocessing, modeling, and visualization.
Experience with SQL and database querying languages for efficient data extraction and manipulation.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
Functional knowledge of data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Spotfire, or PowerBI, to convey insights in a clear and visually appealing manner.
Experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques and algorithms to process and analyze text data.
Experience with OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, and other large language models (LLMs).
Familiarity with cloud technologies, such as AWS or Azure, and experience deploying AI and ML solutions in cloud environments.
Under New York City, Colorado State, Washington State, and California State law, the Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected salary range:
$39,600.00 - $105,500.00

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
