Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals
If you've always wanted to get a robot vacuum, now is the time. CNET's top-rated models will be on sale during Black Friday and Cyber Monday with discounts of up to 57%.

The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping using app-based no-go zones, and its 180-minute runtime is impressive. It also automatically refills and self-empties its water tank.
1. Roomba j7+ from iRobot
The Roomba j7+ is iRobot's most intelligent robot vacuum to date. Its most notable advancement, however, is its camera-based obstacle-detection system. It makes use of AI to recognize objects such as charging cords and shoes. It's also the first robot to automatically send you a picture of the object it comes across so you can tell it to stay clear of it in the future.
The Combo J7+ is the most effective mop-bot we've ever tested, removing spills and dirt effortlessly and leaving no trace that it was there. It's easy to control using the iRobot Home app which allows you to schedule cleaning and create Keep Out Zones so that it doesn't clean areas you don't want it to. And it's compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can start and stop it using your voice.
The design is also better than the other models. It has a sleek, high-end piece that appears like an toy, not a loud and obnoxious robot. The Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System
Self vacuum-empties and is ideal to reduce the time spent cleaning.
In our tests, we discovered that the j7+ quickly removed dust, dirt, and pet hair. The rubber brushes that counter-rotate kept the debris in its place instead of scattering it on the floor. It was able to collect small pieces of gravel, sand, and even a little grit. Most robots could not achieve this feat. It did all this without getting caught in our pet's hair.
The j7+, while not as smart as the $1,217 Roomba S9+ Self-Emptying Vacuum from iRobot, and can't clean the stairs, is an excellent choice for those who need both mopping and vacuum. It's not costly and the iRobot App makes it simple to use.
Although the iRobot Home app is very user-friendly however we've found it be less reliable than other applications that work with robotic cleaners. It can take a while to download updates and it can be difficult to determine whether they're working until you see them in action.
2. Roborock Q5+
If you are looking for a robot vacuum cleaner that does more than just clean your floors A hybrid is the best choice. This category of bots typically comes with a built-in tank for water which means they can mop and vacuum your home simultaneously. They also come with many additional features like smart mapping and small object avoidance and the possibility of washing and re-drying mopping pads. The disadvantage is that they can be expensive when purchased at full retail, but during Black Friday and Cyber Monday they usually drop in price.
Roborock is one of our top robot vacuums and the Q5+ is no exception. This is the cheapest model of their auto-empty line. While it may not have some of the more expensive features (like no-go areas and multi-story memories) but it's an excellent option for those who are willing to make a few compromises to save a few dollars.
The Q5+ is notably soft around obstacles like tables and walls, which makes it a good choice for homes with lots of furniture. It's also very thorough in cleaning up dust bunnies. This is an area that most robot vacuums of lower quality aren't able to meet. The navigation technology in the Q5+ is superb and has very few misses in corners and along walls.
The Q5+, like other Roborock products can be controlled with only a few buttons on your device or through the Roborock App. The app lets you start and stop cleaning. You can also set up schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go areas and adjust your home map, or change the room's label.
If you opt for the Q5+ model, it comes with a brand new auto-emptying dock, designed to make this robot easier to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver, but once in place it can be accomplished with relative ease. It features a large LCD screen, which is useful when setting up schedules and changing settings. This isn't a necessary feature for the majority of people however it will help you keep the track of your robot's maintenance intervals effortlessly.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot mop and vacuum that's astonishingly clever in its vacuuming and mopping capabilities. Its design is one of the top in the market however it's quite expensive.
Its base station looks good and hides it when not in use, and the dimensions are quite small. The primary selling point of the station is the fact that it automates a variety of tasks, functions, and chores that other robots leave to you. It can store dirty and clean water, and then electrolyze and heat the water. Most other robovacs will require this.
Its vacuuming capabilities are also impressive. It's the only robovacs that I've tested that do very well at picking up debris on plain floors, and is not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.
The Freo X Ultra is not without flaws, especially in the area of navigation. Its laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs, meaning it sometimes gets stuck or confused in certain areas of the home. It's not able navigate stairs as well as some competitors,, and it doesn't have a dock that lets you to create an area for cleaning that is specifically designed for carpets with plush padding.
While it doesn't offer as much in the way of cleaning options available in its app or as many in-app shortcuts as other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still a top choice for those seeking a great all-round robot vacuum and mop that's worth the higher price price.
If you're looking for a way to save money or aren't concerned about the limitations of the robot, there are other options on the market. Many eufy models cost significantly less. The eufy Qrevo Curv, for example is less expensive and provides a similar in-app experience with additional features such as stair climbing, a full-function dock, and superior overall vacuuming performance on bare floors as well as high and low-pile carpets.
4. Eufy RoboVac G30
Eufy, an Anker company has a proven track record of producing robot vacuums that strike a good balance between performance, features and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different it offers a high-quality cleaning on hard floors and mopping functions as well as carpets at an affordable price point. It's easy to set up, just connect one of the side brushes and turn it on, then plug in your charging dock. The app takes you through several steps to connect it to Wi-Fi. After that, the G30 is ready to go. The dock will need to be located near an outlet and have enough space to move.
The G30 is a compact device that measures 2.85 inches in height, which means it will fit under most couches and pieces of low-clearance furniture. Its design is less flashy than some of the rival models, sporting sleek black finish and three physical buttons such as Auto Cleaning start/pause, Recharge and Spot Clean (which scrubs a space in an arc for two minutes). You can also connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home for voice commands to perform routine cleaning tasks that are not scheduled.
The way that the G30 cleans is what differentiates it from other models. It uses a built-in map to create an image of non-movable objects that are in its path while retaining what it's cleaned and the areas it's not able to access. It then returns to the base to recharge and continues cleaning the area it left.

The eufy G30 isn't without its faults however. The iRobot Roomba 675 is better constructed, has lower recurring expenses, charges more quickly and has the same battery life, while providing superior performance on floors that are unfinished and carpets with low pile. It has a bigger dust bin, which doesn't require more emptying. It also has boundaries that prevent it from certain areas. The G30 however is more affordable and is much simpler to maintain. Its smaller canister means it doesn't have to be emptied as often, and it has less trouble with bulky materials such as cereal.
