Our client, Sanctuary AI, is pushing the boundaries of technology and innovation in the development of general-purpose robots and artificial intelligence!

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join this world-leading team that is contributing to groundbreaking technology that's shaping the future of Robotics and AI. 

This is an on-site only role located in near 'Main St Science World' Skytrain station, Vancouver, BC.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Utilize state-of-the-art virtual reality simulation equipment (VR) and proprietary software to generate high-quality training data through completion of a range of physical tasks and test cases
  • Remotely Pilot state-of-the-art robotics equipment to generate high-quality training data through completion of a range of physical tasks and test cases
  • When not piloting you will support other VR Operators, collect and collate data, and update tickets within the database
  • Collaborate with different teams to create and implement new test cases, improve workflows, and establish best practices
  • Communicate effectively with team leads and developers to provide regular updates

Requirements

  • Manual dexterity, Spatial awareness and hand eye co-ordination are essential for safe and successful robot piloting (training in martial arts or dance is a huge advantage) 
  • Ability to perform tasks in a VR environment for extended periods. (up to an hour at a time) 
  • Passionate and excited to work with AI & robotics technologies 
  • Patience and persistence in completing repetitive tasks with attention to detail 
  • Ability to analyze tasks, identify issues, and suggest improvements 
  • Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and learn new systems, tools, and/or program interfaces quickly  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Experience with standard business tools such as email, spreadsheets and word processors 
  • Experience using VR/AR headsets and environments 
  • Ability to work on site

Nice to Haves: 

  • Experience using database software such as Jira  
  • Experience with Linux operating system 
  • Basic knowledge of scripting languages such as JavaScript or Python 
  • Familiarity with 3D packages, or video game engines 

Benefits

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8 AM– 4 PM

We offer an hourly rate range from $24-$26 per hour, depending on experience and skills. 

5 sick and personal paid days
10 days vacation
