Job description:

We are looking for a proactive and detailed oriented System Analyst to join our AI platform development team. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders, data scientists and developers ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals and requirements. You will play a key roles in gathering, documenting and managing requirements as well as facilitating Agile processes to support efficient delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners and technical teams to gather and analyze requirements for AI platform features and enhancements.
• Document detailed functional and non-functional requirements user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning , retrospectives and backlog grooming to ensure smooth team collaboration.
• Work closely with product owners to prioritize backlog items and clarify requirements.
• Support the development team by providing clarifications and ensuring requirements are well understood.
• Identify gaps risks and dependencies in requirements and communicate them proactively.
• Assist in crating process flows, wireframes, and diagrams to visualize requirements and systems interactions.
• Participate in testing activities by reviewing test cases and supporting user acceptance testing.
• Monitor project progress and report on requirements status and changes.
• Continuously improve agile processes and team collaboration practices.
• Stay up to date with AI/ML domain knowledge to better understand platform needs and challenges.
• Develop clear, concise methodology documents, which require proficiency in interviewing skills, workflow analysis, dataflow diagramming, screen design, ERD modelling, reporting specifications…
• Review and triage business requests and guide analysts to produce solutions.
• Work with business teams, clients and prospective clients to come up with solutions to their processing needs.
• Lead data related projects and participate in the different phases from requirements gathering to solution designing, development and testing.

Technical

• Assist with application configuration on critical projects.
• Guide the developers through the build process.
• Continually develop and review operational documentation, procedures, and standards to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
• Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., Jira/Confluence) and diagramming tools e.g. vision, draw.io)
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps practices.

Education level and/or relevant experience(s):

• BA/BS Information Technology or relevant experience.
• 5+ years of experience working on systems development projects ideally related to ML/AI/LLM
• Strong analytical and design skills with great written and oral communications skills
• Working knowledge of relational databases and data modeling with experience in writing SQL queries (views, procedures, functions…).
• Business Intelligence/Reporting working knowledge with ability to build customized complex data solutions.
