You’ll lead a strategic initiative to develop a robust, production-ready wireless link module enabling secure, high-bandwidth bi-directional communication between drones and base stations. As Technical Team Lead, you’ll own the system architecture, steer cross-functional execution, and guide a team of embedded, hardware, and FPGA engineers toward major technical milestones. This is a deeply hands-on role that combines systems engineering expertise with team leadership.
Define and own the high-level system architecture of the wireless link module, ensuring sound technical trade-offs across hardware and software domains
Translate architectural decisions into actionable workstreams and manage their execution across embedded, hardware, and FPGA contributors
Monitor project health, anticipate technical bottlenecks, and make fast, pragmatic decisions to maintain momentum
Mentor and support team members by sharing your deep domain knowledge in RF, embedded systems, and systems integration
Act as the technical point of contact for internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment and visibility.
Oversee day-to-day team management, including setting goals, tracking progress, and fostering a high-performance engineering culture
Education: Engineering school graduate or Master’s/Ph.D. in Wireless Systems, Signal Processing, Applied Physics, or Applied Mathematics
Experience: 5–10 years of hands-on development in RF communication systems (either HW or SW), ideally followed by or including systems architecture or project ownership roles
Systems Engineering: Proven ability to bridge high-level system thinking with technical detail across RF, firmware, and hardware layers
Leadership: Experience leading or coordinating technical teams, with the confidence to push for excellence and the humility to collaborate
Problem-Solving: Ability to work autonomously and solve complex technical challenges.
Communication & Influence: Excellent written and verbal communication, capable of leading diverse principals – from junior members to senior executives.
