Job Description

Location: Domino’s World Resource Center; 30 Frank Lloyd Wright Dr, Ann Arbor, MI 48105 (Mon-Thurs onsite)

The Domino’s Pizza Analytics & Insights (A&I) team in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking a Senior Data Scientist that is a creative problem solver with strong analytic, forecasting, and programming skills, possessing the ability to leverage multiple data sources using SQL and Python.

The role will involve close collaboration with leaders of different business verticals driving incremental value with our 3rd Party aggregator partner(s).  The ideal candidate will be act as our resident expert on 3P and regularly report results to our Domino’s leadership team. The candidate will be heavily involved in identifying order driving activities and forecasting store-level, day of week, and time of day order demand for each of our U.S. based stores. 

In this role, you will:

  • Identify order and profit driving opportunities
  • Lead analytics and insight function in proactive development of actionable 3rd Party recommendations
  • Test and learn on pricing, offers, and media to drive sales and orders on 3rd party aggregator partners: strategize and prioritize testing opportunities, design tests to clearly measure the impact, and communicate recommendations to internal partners. 
  • Partner with broader 3P delivery team identifying opportunities to drive incremental orders through marketing and operational initiatives.
  • Measure customer incrementality and cannibalization across 1st Party and 3rd Party Order Channels.
  • Help the organization deeply understand the customer metrics on 3rd party, including acquisition rate, repeat customer frequency, and retention rate and how they are impacted by various strategies.
  • Track the flow of customers across channels and implement strategies to retain them on 1P
  • Generate and present complex analyses to the executive audience in a compelling manner to influence team and capitalize on opportunities
     

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Math, or related field, a Masters or MBA is preferred.
  • 6+ years of related work experience.  Experience working with 3rd Party delivery is preferred.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and developing algorithms with a strong track record of problem-solving through statistical analysis on large data sets.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications a must.
